Totally. You can't do it the same way you did it in your 20s. The danger is to think you can't do it at all. I've been lucky enough never to have a major injury, so the obstacles I'm overcoming are minuscule compared to what some people have to deal with.
Not shrinking comes in many shapes and sizes. Today, I chose to twist and lengthen my spine and get all the kinks out. Then I vacuumed and did a few squats. I rode my bike and stretched prior. I will repeat daily as needed, which is my joy to move like jagger at my age!
I love this! I suggest not doing the splits without warming up. There is some wisdom to being careful and also not fearful while ancient.
