I don't always take the time to comment Jeff, but every day I find something familiar in your posts that either resonates with me or indicates that our lives have run in parallel at times - or might in the future. I worked with Adamski's (Adam's) aunt for many years. She was an illustrator when I worked as a Technical Author at Plessey Radar.

Yesterday, like you becoming the Youth Pastor because your dad was the pastor, I became a Guide Leader at 18 because my mum was the District Commissioner and it was easier for her to recruit me than someone else! And like you, I am no longer involved with Girl Guiding; I didn't like the way we were forced to do training we were unlikely to need.

One of the best things about writing to people every day is the me-too moments where you or me or someone else entirely encounters a person with an experience that matches or rhymes and we feel visible and connected. I always appreciate your comments, even if it takes me eight (!!!) days to reply.
