We are not uncovering it or discovering it; it’s not as if it resides somewhere and is just waiting to be found. There is no movie. We are making decisions, one by one, to create it.
Couldn't agree more. The idea may feel like it came from nowhere but turning that idea into a physical thing can be years of hard work. I'm currently working on a picture book that has so far taken 7 years to beat into shape. Creativity is hard work, even when its easy, but so worth it.
