It is one big forest. Last night, I fed the feral cats and made eye contact a long time with the grey and white one finally. This morning, a brown towhee ate seed while making eye contact. I love connecting with humans and all life forms through the eye gates. That connection is exhilarating to meπΈ
Yesterday evening, Christine and I walked along the Stroudwater Canal towpath. We saw ducks, coots, moorhens, a kingfisher, people exercising and walking their dogs, sparrows dust-bathing and a really cute brown rat. We picked up a branch of rosemary from a sharing box outside someone's gate and felt very connected indeed.
