Welcome to 2025 in the FFOREST.
I have some questions for you – not about plans and goals and visions, those aren’t my speciality. My questions are about what you are doing now to set yourself up for the future you want. Focus on the one(s) that fit your life now. Don’t worry about the others.
Does the way you use your time help you become the person you want to be?
If not, what specific use of your time can you change now?
What is the next thing you want to learn?
How will you learn it?
What is your start date?
How is your body doing?
Are you eating, exercising and sleeping for long-term health?
Are you doing the next right thing or are you putting it off?
I love a good story song.
Happy New Year!
Jeff
The song Virginia that was in the YouTube video is weirdly intriguing. It would make a great musical; even her voice sounds like she could be the lead. I’m going through old letters reading about my angst filled past as a teenager so the song seems appropriate.
As I approach 71, I am happy with my well-being. I am just over the flu, my family member died and was revived, his wife found out she’s got cancer, our 20 year old cat went missing and another friend has blood cancer. And so it goes. I am involved in supportive love in action toward them. But I have a steadiness born in me last year. I have a habit to pause and respond instead of react. It has served me to remain engaged yet remain unattached to outcomes. For an empath, this is game that pays rich dividends.
