Who could use a lovely surprise today? It’s Tuesday, which is pretty much Monday part two. So go ahead and surprise someone with something a bit extra. (Also applies to Fridays.)

Wednesday

You can control your processes.
You can only influence your outcomes.
Put your energy where your control is.

Thursday

I listed a bunch of things famous people have done that you will not do. I forgot to mention that one of the Nobel prizes you won’t win is for economics. You won’t get the headline slot on the pyramid stage at Glastonbury either.

So what will you do?

Every moment you spend looking at someone and saying, I could never… you are spending energy – your energy that you could use to do things you can do.

Value your energy.

Last week, I wanted the name of a German truck. The clue was ‘… I am an island’, a well-know Simon and Garfunkel lyric. Katie submitted Mercedes Arok, which is indeed called a truck in the USA. Here in the UK, it’s the front part (technical term) of an articulated lorry. Her answer is totally valid though, so respect and 39 points to Katie. The vehicle I had in mind has one more syllable, the Volkswagen Amarok.
