Once I started using Textile and then Markdown in my writing, I never looked back. iA Writer is the most elegant Markdown writing app I've used, and I've tried a lot of them. My favourite iA Writer trick is selecting my whole TREE post in Writer then pressing command + option + C, then pasting perfectly formatted text into my Substack draft.
That’s a good peek into what you all do. WORD on Word, ugly. It does what it does well but is stiff and boring, too. The challenge is to create in the box 📦

I use a notebook, Google Docs, and pieces of scrap paper but now I’m intrigued by ai Writer. I do tend to feel a little disorganized!
