This also opened an interesting topic in my own head this morning on how creatives might make assumptions/associations/preconceived notions based solely just on applications used for creating. Cough... Microsoft... cough. I'll do everything in my power to stay out of that nonsense. Got all my gears turning this morning, Jeff!

I use a notebook, Google Docs, and pieces of scrap paper but now I’m intrigued by ai Writer. I do tend to feel a little disorganized!

Once I started using Textile and then Markdown in my writing, I never looked back. iA Writer is the most elegant Markdown writing app I've used, and I've tried a lot of them. My favourite iA Writer trick is selecting my whole TREE post in Writer then pressing command + option + C, then pasting perfectly formatted text into my Substack draft.

That’s a good peek into what you all do. WORD on Word, ugly. It does what it does well but is stiff and boring, too. The challenge is to create in the box 📦
