Great blog today Jeff - and even those were written a while ago, you'd never know it.
I love radio 4 too - so so much content on there, not enough hours in the day to listen. Like you I cannot listen to words when i'm writing them - which is 9-5.30 everyday - so that's when the sounds of the DJs of Radio 2 and Greatest Hits Radio enter my study.
I'm sorry you had to experience those breakfasts; I too have negative connotations of food as a child.
Fortunately, the posts require some editing to get them up to 2023 standards. I would be sad if I hadn't improved in 14 years.
Speaking of good content. Have you got any programme or podcast recommendations?
When I think about my breakfasts, it's like this: I'm writing my autobiography and need to pull up some childhood trauma to keep it interesting. The best I can come up with is some meals I didn't like, so I think I'm doing pretty good.
(It's important for me to recognise here that lots of people have trauma surrounding food in childhood. It's a real thing that should not be discounted.)
Giggling as a mom that served tofu....shortly. I am buffering in silence today but peeked in for shitz n giggles. Got some 🪷
So glad you are here, Denelle! I love tofu when it's firm and well-seasoned.
I do, too, but then it was a science project. Good to be living in Bisbee in a 1915 schoolhouse.
Oof, that wheat dish. Clearly I took my childhood breakfast cereal for granted!
Also Travis Sing 💯 an old fave, so much nostalgia!

Thank you, Beth!
