We’re halfway through the manifesting for materialists series and the energy feels weird.
I looked forward to rerunning this series for a long time. When I first wrote and posted it three years ago, it was well-received. Part seven is still one of my top posts. This time, it doesn’t feel like I expected. To me at least, the vibe is off.
Does it feel off to you or does it feel good?
I think maybe it’s because we are being slapped in the face daily with the consequences of the world’s wealthiest businesses and most powerful governments using the tools for manifesting in the service of avarice and cruel power over others.
Tools are always used in a context.
I know that in the FFOREST we’re trying to be the kind of people who use our abilities to create goodness in the world. We want to recognise connection rather than promote division. We want to lift others up not tear them down.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, as we go after the things we want in life, let’s make sure we don’t follow the examples of our current leaders.
Just the answer this week. Last week I wondered if you could name a character from page and screen who is adept at accessing lifting devices.
Congratulations to Josh who could and did name Jack Reacher.
If you get a chance and have access, watch Celeste’s Glastonbury set. It’s only available for a few more days. She does some unreleased music that is crazy good.
Happy weekend!
Jeff
I'm enjoying the realist element, but feeling the sheer bootstrap pulling of reality right now.
I sure appreciate what you're giving us, Jeff. If you're feeling like engagement is down...it sure can feel that way. I'm trying some big on my crazy hope newsletter and engagement is super low... I tend to think people like pictures of dogs and me wearing funny hats, instead.
