I met Jess Lea-Wilson when she was a young teenager. She grew up and became a design client. Now she is a designer, artist and writer that I truly admire and see way less of than I would like to. Jess is providing the posts for three Fridays in August. They start here and continue on her blog. Please click through. Her writing is warm and sink-into-able – perfect for a Friday morning. (FIELD GUIDE will be back in September.)
I’ve got one more song and three more crazy DALL-E images for you this week.
Grow slowly
Jeff
One.
There are some people in life who set an example in the way they live theirs. Not in a trite, cliched way, a preachy way, or an irritating one. Just in a quiet, this person lives a good life and makes the most of things way. Today I wanted to share something about one such person. She will know who she is.
Our friendship was forged at a festival. I'd turned up without a pillow, tampons or toothpaste. All of which were fairly essential when camping with a period and my own set of teeth, and all of which were duly given to me by her – my boss – and then a stranger…
Two.
DALL-E has done great things with TREE 241's Ranty Randy. Is that a worm in the first guy’s mouth?
Three.
Yep it’s another Akintoye song. I’m going to keep posting them, so you might as well become a fan.
