New and unusual things are happening all the time right now. Life feeling weird and dangerous is totally normal.
Most new things aren’t threats, they are opportunities. And even when they are threats, they contain opportunities.
Develop the habit of sitting with your threatenedness instead of instantly reacting.1
The time you spend observing the new thing without reacting will help you spot the opportunity faster.

Humbug is maybe my favourite Arctic Monkeys album. I love the dark sound and descriptive lyrics. This was my favourite on the album until I ruined it by setting it as my alarm. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did on my first listen.

Low and slow is my mantra today. Sitting still in my grief of losing a dear friend. Life is able to keep you uneasy if you don’t sit still. Then you can move through life’s pain in intentional understanding. I’m going slow and growing. 🌹💛🙏🐢
