Interconnectedness enhances my life in practical, helpful and meaningful ways. While 2 men worked 6 hours in the heat to tow my rig out, I helped them. I got screwdrivers, hammer, offered water, helped while being helped. While in the midst of intense maneuvering of wench on the tiger of towtrucks (16 tons), one received a call from home in the Honduras. His uncle died. His brother died a month ago. He began to cry. I offered a hug and he opened his arms and I held him as he caught his breath. It occurred to me how I was in the middle of the desert hugging a bereft stranger. Interconnectedness. Later, after we towed my rv out of the ravines, we were finally ready to head down the dirt road to Walmart. Grady, the Peterbilt driver got a call. His friend died. It was one of THOSE moments when you are ready to breathe a sigh of relief but no, comfort is needed for another. I talked with him and he shared his life story of recovery from addiction to meth. You never know. Eventually the day ended peacefully in bed in a Walmart parking lot. Interconnectedness is exacting isn’t it?

What a day! I don’t know how to respond to that other than to point out that you are writing one heck of a book in the comments here.
