One. The dominant story is we pick up our phones 275,000 times a day and this is bad because we’re addicted to screen-based dopamine hits so we never interact with real humans so we’re lonely so we become suspicious and divided which will lead to the downfall of civilisation.
I use my phone to google blm or forest land. Then gps guides me to places I wouldn’t find otherwise. My phone then lets my fam and friends know where I am when I drop a pin to them. My phone is available if I need help. Saturday it helped me get towed out of a long windy dirt road. It’s a necessity for me to live in the nomadic lifestyle. I’m caught up on Yellowstone on Peacock (excellent, btw). When I want to listen to the quiet, I simply do. I guess the only question is can you put the phone down to choose quiet?
Decent app :- Khan Academy.
Just had a look. Really impressive. Then I did a little reading about Sal Khan. He’s quite a guy!
