One.
As you are trudging gratefully up the road towards manifesting what you want, unexpected things will happen. Some will get in your way. Some will distract you from your way. Some will be opportunities to move up the road really fast. These opportunities are the trudging spell working.
The opportunities are not always obvious and are often scary. You don’t want to miss them, so it’s important to stay open.
I am not a naturally open person.
I’ve been into audio most of my life. When I was a kid, my friends and I would record our own “radio stations” on cassette tapes. I dreamed of having my own radio show.
When I was 15, I was at a home school volleyball game. One of the girls there had an older brother who was a DJ at the local Christian radio station. After the game, her mum started talking to me in the car park. The station was looking for an intern. You like radio, Jeff. Would you be interested? I was a shy, not open and, at that moment, terrified person. No thanks, I lied in my coolest 15 year-old voice, I’m not really into radio anymore.
About then, my mum jumped into my business and said, The hell1 you’re not interested in radio. You are interested and you are going to take the internship.
So I did. Then I got hired. It was my first real job. Eventually, I had my own radio show (three of ’em before I was done).
What I’m saying is, stay open. When you notice you are scared, get even opener. There’s an opportunity trying to happen.

The kids love listening to grandma’s stories about her time as a forklift operator for the special forces during the Amazon wars.

Please set some time aside to properly enjoy tomorrow’s Feynmansplaining. It’s excellent.
Grow in openness

PS How about trying tomorrow’s Feynmansplaining in the Substack app?
My mum definitely didn’t say “hell” at a homeschool volleyball game in 1989. She is good and pure and holy – and still tougher than me.
The footnote 😆 I’m pretty sure she still wouldn’t say “hell.” And she is tougher than all of us. She flew to the DR to deliver my baby. I might have given birth but she was the real MVP of that whole situation! ♥️ love you, mom!
Trudgery drudgery. Mucking through a pulled muscle getting ready for a trip north…again. I’m saying many gratitudes due to the quicksand. The more gratitudes improve my attitude. And a better attitude is the quickest way out of muck.
I quickly scrolled to see what you would say about the cuss word. I couldn’t imagine yo mama saying that, and she didn’t. Hello Dorie!
I was on FLR and had discussions with KGMS…were you working with either one?
