One.
There’s a phrase from the bible that has stuck with me for decades:
‘… trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord’ (Eph 5:10, NET).1
I like it because it has this feel of, no one has all the answers, so have a go. Try stuff. See what works.
We live in a playground/workshop/studio of a world where the important thing is ‘trying to learn’. Throw yourself into life with the curiosity and unfazed experimentation of a little child. Guide yourself with what you’ve learned so far. Fail cheerfully. Every moment you spend trying to learn is a success.

What I talk about when I talk about God. I know most of the FOREST have read this. I also know terms like ‘Lord’ make some folks twitchy (for very legit reasons), so I prefer err on the side of repetition.
Alas... if you buy tickets to see and hear Macy Gray, be prepared for EVERYONE--including the tone deaf folks--to sing aloud at full volume to this song... oh how disappointing! I was surrounded by very young and very drunk women for the event.
But THAT aside--grouchy old me--I appreciate your sense of this Ephesians verse, yes! Very good. Funny how some words stick.
