Totally! Too often people run from one mode of being (or ideology or religion) straight to another without facing and dealing with what’s going on inside themselves. They end up an identical prison, only the bars are painted a different colour.
In my opinion, men need to learn how to stop hiding our fragility behind patriarchal control and toxic masculinity. Once we are honest, we can learn to be not so fragile. We owe to ourselves and to the people we live and work with.
