I'm good at figuring out how to get things done. I do use Google and YouTube for that a lot though 😂. But, I replaced the igniter and the temperature sensor in our oven by myself a few weeks ago, and also learned how to cut through pvc pipe with string when I was replacing the inner workings of the toilet and found that the overflow pipe was too long.

This is excellent, Bridget! Assuming you can do things + the willingness to ask how = superpower.

(I immediately googled ‘how to cut PVC pipe with string’.)

All right - I asked my husband and this is what he said:

Baking: I'm definitely better than Brandon, but I'm not sure I'd consider myself an expert

Mario Kart: I am actually really good at Mario Kart.

Being fair:  I thought that was an interesting one and it's one I probably do excell at because I think it's so important.

And JUST TO BE FAIR, Brandon's are:

Cooking: He's really good, could have done it for a career if the stars aligned differently. I am a well fed lady.

Always prepared: It's as if he truly internalized the Boy Scout's motto. This guy has a full set of clothes vacuum sealed in the trunk of his car "just in case"

Loyal:  The most loyal friend, husband, and person I know. He supports the people he loves no matter what.

Thank you! This is an excellent list, Anna. It has a really nice range.

'This guy has a full set of clothes vacuum sealed in the trunk of his car "just in case”’ !!!!! I like your husband.

One suggestion as you are thinking about what you are good at: be more specific. Baking is huge. I bet there is something within baking – a certain cake/cookie/loaf, a technique – that you are absolutely amazing at. You can apply that kind of specific focus to anything you are good at.

I really do think you'd like him! And I like the way you're making me rethink my skills. I do make a really good yeasted low carb bread. It took me years to figure out!
