On Monday
Jeff talked about the terrifying California killfish, but its importance is crucial to a much larger network.
When you see something strange, it’s almost certainly one visible part of a complex system which cannot be understood without doing some hard work.
Tuesday
Jeff reminds us that we need to lean into complexity.
When you do, you begin to see simple actions that move things in the right direction, that set off virtuous cycles of improvement.
Wednesday
We’re reminded that it’s vital to take care of ourselves.
When you care for your body, you care for your brain, you care for your mind, you care for your soul, you care for your self.
And yesterday
We talked about beans…human beans. I mean, beings. Just as there are an insane variety of beans, humans are all unique and bring their own special qualities to the table. Jeff reminds us to make an effort to celebrate and understand human variety.
This one’s screamy from the beginning. Makes me want to blast it full volume.
Arson Charge just released their newest album on the third of this month. This is my favorite song from the album…at the moment.
My absolute favorite part of this type of music is the drums. Why? Well, I’ll tell ya.
When I was in high school I went to a show in the basement of a pizza shop that no longer exists here. I was right up front. Every single time the drummer stomped that pedal, I got blasted in the face with air from the bass drum. It was a small, silly thing, but it was amazing.
Happy Weekend <3
