Monday
I didn’t post because I was busy helping the company I work for launch its new brand.
Tuesday
TREE has one job: to deliver a fresh thought to your inbox every weekday. It’s a little part of the oxygen mask that keeps your airflow strong so you can do the work you need to do. Other parts are eating well, sleeping, exercise, connecting with other humans, spending time outside with animals and plants, etc.
Wednesday
I shared a reminder to hold your beliefs lightly because your perception of reality is a simulation based on your brain’s interpretation of incomplete data from your senses run through the filters of your past experiences, your biases, your emotional state and your beliefs.
According to Lois Payne, a person who makes her living by writing, this post is ‘Extremely well written!!’ so if you’re only clicking one link, go for Wednesday.
Thursday
I continued Wednesday’s line of thinking with the idea that disillusionment, in its literal meaning, is wholly desirable.
I don’t want to live my life believing in and living according to illusions. As much as possible, I want to know the truth of my life, of the people I live with, and of the universe I live within.
As we head into the weekend, I leave you with this blessing again:
May you be ever disillusioned and never disenchanted.
The answer is a year in the 1980s. The clue is:
Which red berry bear impressed the queen’s son – A, B or C?
Answers in the comments, please.
Sometimes the internet gives beautiful gifts. I opened YouTube to find English Teacher and Richard Hawley covering Transmission front and centre.
Happy weekend
Jeff
I got 1985 from red berry bear and queens son, I’m just curious about the last part! Katie’s too-much-thinkie brain went “Alphabet St??” 😂
