On Monday

We smushed together two thoughts. We should smush these two things together to remind ourselves that change is hard, and it takes time. That is not a character flaw, it’s human.

Tuesday

Jeff reminds us that in order to make permanent changes, we have to engage permanent measures. If our measures are temporary, our changes will be as well.

Wednesday

We’re reminded to focus on the bigger picture of the things we want. Everything has its place. When we think of things we want to do, we have to consider every single part of it, not just the thing itself.

And yesterday

There is not a “right” time to start something. So we’re encouraged to start at the “wrong” time. New Year resolutions dont have to start in January, start right now! Whenever it is that you start, is the perfect time for you.

Gojira is a French metal band from Ondres. They were originally called “Godzilla” in the 90’s. Fun fact: “Gojira” in Japanese means “Gorilla the size of a whale”. Gojira has been a heavy choice since the early 2000’s for me. In motherhood, one of my proudest moments was Brie falling asleep, as a baby, to a mixed playlist of their songs.
