On Monday
Jeff mentions how making a game out of things we deal with in daily life can make things a little more fun. Beating the GPS is a fun game we likely all play. Life is still a game, and it can be fun to play.
Tuesday
Life might be a game, but the best part is that it’s your game.
You get to choose quite a lot of what you will nurture and what you will destroy. I hope you are choosing to maximise nurture and minimise destruction.
Wednesday
Capitalism is just a game. We made it up.
Finding the best way to play the game of Capitalism takes time. It’s worth learning.
And yesterday
Even when you can’t see your power or your options, you still have them. If you can’t find them on your own, ask someone to show you.
Jeff & Christine make a heck of a team. Ninja moves are made. Awe is struck. Appreciation is never ending. The best part of them being a team, is that Christine can point out to Jeff that he has power. As a dad, as a partner, as a friend, as the creator of good fun things. Sometimes it just takes someone reminding or showing you, you have options.
A Day To Remember is the very first band that began my love of this type of music. Did their last album absolutely leave me disappointed? Yes. Will I still always love them? Again, yes.
This is their new collaboration with Bilmuri and it has me jamming and feeling like the ADTR that existed in my high school days is still in there somewhere.
What a week! We made it. I hope this weekend you will find the relaxation and rejuvenation you deserve through making the mundane, every day things a game.
Happy weekend.
