The fourth and final cycle of The Book of TREE has seven weeks left to go. The end of The Book of TREE will be the end of TREE. I’ve written everything I know about how to live well. By 19 June, anything I wrote worth repeating will have been posted here at least twice, a lot of it three times. That’s plenty.
I don’t know what six-and-a-half years of TREE has done for you. I hope it’s been useful. It’s certainly been good for me. I’ve (re)connected with wonderful people. I have a healthier, happier relationship with life. I haven’t doomscrolled in a long time because it doesn’t interest me anymore. I think the main reason is the daily discipline of thinking, writing and posting about a life worth living.
Now it’s about time to take down the scaffolding and enjoy what I’ve built. One of the things I’m enjoying very much is slooooowly writing, drawing and designing Bonanza Clementine is Dead. I’m thinking about how I might bring it to this email list in the future but I haven’t settled on anything definite yet.
For now, let’s enjoy the last few weeks of TREE. Skyler will be back handling the music and the posts on Monday.
The fact that they were manufactured on a TV show did not stop Girls Aloud from making a whole bunch of great pop music. Start here and listen to the whole album.
Grow slowly
Jeff

It's been a nice daily occurrence over the years to remember to check back in with myself. I think the ripples of TREE are far reaching and it's been an honor to reconnect with an old friend (the Boston accent is permanent, Skylar- I'm the Boston accent, we're permanent) and to meet new ones. I think showing up daily for years has mattered, Jeff. Thank you
I'll have to start rereading, you've shared so much beautiful wisdom! Thank you!
