What games arenāt you playing?
Our society is mostly constructed to extract work, money and data from us without any concern for our long-term wellbeing.
The fact that youāre part of the FFOREST makes it likely that you have opted out of some of the games you are āsupposedā to be playing. Because you are interested in your long-term wellbeing and big tech, big food, big media, big whatever is not the boss of you.
Once in a while itās good to check in with yourself. Some questions to ask:
What have I opted out of?
How is my life in this area going now compared to how it was before?
Am I happy with my trajectory?
Is there anything else Iām ready to quit?
My guess is that this exercise will make you feel good. Itās nice to feel good on a Monday morning.
This is a personal exercise, but if youād like to share your progress and encourage the rest of us, pleaseā¦
If youāre interested in some longer posts about why opting out of societyās games might be a good idea, I recommend John Michael Greerās āBeyond Lenocracyā followed by āThe Secret of the Sagesā and Gurwinderās āWhy Everything is Becoming a Gameā.

Lenocracy article was a little depressing in is accuracy.
