What moment or experience comes to mind when you think about a beautiful ending? Maybe it was a graduation, or a funeral of an elderly person who was suffering from cancer, or even your child’s first steps. (That would be the end of you being able to put them on the ground, and find them there where you left them, when you return – ha!) What was special about that ending?
As a great synod of philosophers once wrote, ‘Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.’ (Semisonic, ‘Closing Time’, 1998) Express your gratitude right now for the close of another month, another day, another epoch of your life, and also the beginning of a new one.

I’m in a singleness phase of life. I’m embracing it. Just colored eggs for this week’s hb’s. Why not? It took 5 extra minutes to have joy come in the steps it took. And, I will enjoy the colors all week in the frig!
