What recent event occurred that caused fear in you, and how did you overcome? What was the result? Were you able to use that fear to avoid pain, damage, or an otherwise negative outcome? While many think of fear as a bad thing, it’s actually just a ‘check engine light’ on our body/mind dashboard that helps us be aware. Take a moment and express gratitude towards yourself and your body/mind warning signs that help keep you aware and safe. Thank the fear response for alerting you, and consider the positive benefits of the information. Express gratitude toward yourself for being a caring being.
Bonus! Extra gratitude resources.
