Today is my birthday. I am 50 years old. I’d need 10 hands to count that high!
Seeing as I am halfway to dead – I’m vegan who works at a standing desk, so I figure I’ve got a shot at 100 – I’m asking YOU for a present. Could you share with me something you have learned that helps you with your self, family, friends, community, creativity, or work?
It doesn’t matter if you are older or younger than me. If you are alive, you have good things worth sharing.
Maybe it’s something you’ve figured out through experience. Maybe it’s a mantra. Maybe it’s advice someone else gave you that really worked for you. Maybe it’s a great app you have on your phone. I don’t know. But I want to. I’m super curious about what helps you thrive because I plan on making the next 50 years as awesome as I can.
What wisdom for living would you like to share with me and the other FFOREST folk?
Thank you!
Jeff
PS Here’s a party favour: A while back I did a project with Jemima Duncalf called Permission Notes. It was all about giving people permission to be who they are. The archive is still online and still helpful.
P.P.S. Buying my book is also a great birthday present for me and for the person you give it to.
Also, I have enjoyed being in my 50s more than I ever imagined. It's a great time to be alive. <3
Happy Birthday! I actually haven;t worked out what helps me to thrive. Perhaps I should, then I could do more of it.
