Robert Schullerâs question via Regina Dugan is a good one:
What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?
Donât fear failure, follow your dreams, do amazing things, etc. They love this question in Silicon Valley.
Once upon a time, possibly in an email, Steven Lee Tracy turned this question on its head and maybe made it better:
âWhat would you do if you knew you couldnât win?â
What Iâd be doing is writing this email to you.
If I knew that Iâd never be recognised as the best, if only Christine read what I wrote, if no one ever looked at my silly drawings, if I never got paid, if I was to be remembered for nothing that I accomplished, I would write and draw and design.
The reward is that I get to do this.
Anything else is a bonus.
When youâre doing the thing you would choose to do even if you have no chance of winning at it, you fill your work with untouchable joy.
Always be grateful that horses donât have access to social media. They have opinions for days.
Cover number three: Olivia Jean takes on Enyaâs megahit Orinoco Flow. At first youâll be like haha, then youâll say, hold on, I actually like this.

I get to live. Iâm following a gal with numbered days. I also have numbered days but no dead-line like she has. She has joy all the time. I just love her!
This is the ultimate ninja move: to see the end up ahead and in response live life to the full.
