One.
Stability is an interior quality.
The sun rising every day,
seasons,
the sea,
mountains,
TREES (of course!),
religion,
rituals,
relationships β
all these things can be reference points to help you build inner stability. They can point you back to your inner stillness. But they cannot be your stability.
If you base your sense of stability on external circumstances, it will always be in jeopardy. In times like these, it may be nonexistent.
Inner stability is fluid, responsive, light.
At the same time it is deep and still.
The only way Iβve found to get it is practice.
The waves will keep coming.
The invitation to learn to surf is always open.
Two.
When youβre stripped down for yoga and someone walks in on you during an awkward pose.
Three.
Some classic Welsh rock to start your week. I was going to go with Madame Helga. Then the next track on the album came on, grabbed me by the whole body and made me bounce. Such a good groove! Headphones on. Volume up.
Letβs do this week.
Grow slowly
