An ancient prophet lamented, ββ¦ my people are destroyed from lack of knowledgeβ (Hosea 4:6, NIV).
Today he might say, My people are destroyed by a flood of unused knowledge. Some of that knowledge tsunami is a nearly unavoidable part of living in the 21st century. Some of it we do to ourselves.
What knowledge taps could you turn off so that you can focus on the information that matters to your life?
Iβd suggest this question: Is this flow of knowledge helping me become the person I want to be? If the answer is no, shutting it off seems like a good idea.
Another suggestion: if the knowledge flow is described using the word βfeedβ, be suspicious. Are you a farm animal being fattened up for slaughter?
I am free / And I ask myself / Are you?
Grow slowly

Jeff! I've never once thought of that term 'feed' in this way before. I took one week off FB and ig up to Easter and felt so much better for it. This might just be the final piece of the puzzle for me to get off them for good.
