I get to do this life once. I want to do it all the way.

What is the point

of seeing,
if I’m here
but looking for something else

of tasting,
if I eat
but don’t savour the meal

of hearing,
if I listen
without seeking to understand

of touching,
if I close myself off
from the ones I love

of creating,
if I fail to make
what is in my heart

of walking,
if I’m unaware
this Earth is holy ground
