âInvincible Summerâ is available now, if youâre quick. Scroll to the bottom of this post.
An idea!
Will it work?
Get it out
of your head.
Make it real.
Sketch it out.
Mock it up.
Try it on.
Take the class.
When you make
ideas real,
you can see
hidden flaws,
bring unknown
strengths to light,
make them sleek,
glow them up,
let them fly.
Should your i-
dea deflate,
never mind.
Lay it down.
Walk it off.
A new one
is just now
on its way
to your brain.
Youâve been following the process of my creation of this piece for the last few weeks. Youâve voted on the paper. Now itâs ready. This is your chance to get âInvincible Summerâ.
The art
âInvincible Summerâ is a digital + analogue impressionist view of Selsley Common photographed on Boxing Day 2024 and turned into vibrant summer scene.
Itâs a beautiful reminder
that seasons always change,
that in the cold dark of winter summer is already preparing to emerge,
that the hubris of humanity is no match for the deeper flow of nature,
that you are part of the deep flow,
that there is always reason for hope.

Woooo! Iâm excited. đĽł
I read once about an artist who viewed all inspiration as floating in the wind, and you had to reach out and grab an idea. If you missed that idea it went on to another artist. No ideas or art were lost in their view, it just went on to someone else.
