… is a good thing to tell yourself if you are scared to try a new thing.

1. When it comes to trying new things, it’s extremely unlikely that you’ll land in a situation where your flesh will be at the mercy of ravens. I can think of some. I’m sure you can too. But they’re not going to happen are they?

2. If you are extremely unlucky and do find yourself at the mercy of ravens, you can take comfort in the fact that they’re scavengers. Ravens are unlikely to start tearing off strips of your flesh until after you’re dead.

So have a go.

You might lose some pride or some money. But the fun, knowledge and wisdom you get from the experience will totally be worth it. And you almost certainly won’t be the victim of merciless ravens.
