Human beings are idiots.

Extend grace.

In Christian theology, grace has a specific meaning: underserved kindness. I think that’s a beautiful idea. It also reveals a fantastic power that you have. You have power to show kindness to idiots who don’t deserve it! When you extend grace, you free yourself from being a victim of people’s idiocy and you help yourself and the idiot remember that they are better than their current behaviour.

When my kids were kids we used to put this song on and all of us would dance around the living room together. We did this many times. Put this on, dance your way through it and you will be ready for Monday.
