Elizabeth Gilbert is not into following passion. She prefers to follow her curiosity.
I like that.
I’ve never been one of those vision people who clearly know what they should do and where they should go. The only vision statement I have is my glasses prescription. I’m not always passionate about something. I’ve never not been curious though.
Curiosity has taken me around the world. It has introduced me to wonderful people, music and food. It has helped overcome the crippling shyness I was born with. It got me my current job. (I work in employer branding. A few months ago I didn’t even know such a thing as employer branding existed.) FFOREST began with me wondering if there was a better way to start my day.
Don’t know what to do?
Follow your curiosity.
Not feeling passionate about anything?
Follow your curiosity.
(If you’re afraid of what might happen when you follow your curiosity, remember: you are not a cat.)
It’s good to see that people are still doing craft projects with old CDs.
Grow slowly
