Two examples from popworld:
Billie Eilish grew up singing and homeschooled in a ridiculously musical showbiz family. She got her 10,000 hours in early.
When she was 15, Dua Lipa moved without her family from Kosovo to London so she could pursue a career in pop music.
Overnight success always comes with a long backstory full of really hard work.
Except when it doesn’t. There’s always an exception somewhere.
But if you want to achieve success,
your odds are a million times better
if you bet on smart hard work
than if you sit around hoping
you’re the exception.
Keep going. Overnight success takes years.
