What advice would your future-self offer for your current challenges?
I’ve been suffering with fatigue recently which means I’ve been limited in what I’ve been able to do. Thankfully I am improving but there have been times when it felt like my body was collapsing inwards.
Last month, in a period of despair, I wrote the following in my journal:
Imagine a time when this is behind you. What will be the lesson?
This was my answer:
Self worth. Kindness. The need to have fun. Being nice to myself. Being kind to myself. Filling the well. Taking moments for myself. Putting my own needs first. Being gentle with myself. Loving myself. Loving my worth. Loving me. A whole other level of love.
It’s amazing what our inner wisdom can tell us when we sit down in an agreeable environment with a cappuccino, a pen and our favourite notebook!
Do you have struggles at the moment? What advice would your future-self offer?
You could take my approach explore this question in your journal.
Or have a conversation with a friend. You could swap your lessons learned and get insight from each other.
Or sit quiet in your meditation time and ponder what you could do now that would help you resolve a tricky situation.
I’m sure that you can come up with some wise and helpful answers. If you are feeling bold please share your thoughts in the comments.
