One.
You know when Rocky gets all that training done during some inspiring music?
Or when they paint the orphanage or something like that during Sister Act 2?
Or Hugh Grant’s tedious walk through the seasons in Notting Hill?
Or these guys:
90% (or more) of life takes place during the montage. Here’s the hard truth: you have to live it in real time, not montage time. You have to do all work, not just little snippets. You have to build relationships over months and years. You have to experience the slowness of seasons. You have to wash the dishes. When you’re stuck, you have to live through every minute of your own personal Groundhog Day over and over again until you get unstuck.
My advice for today is: learn to love living in the montage or you will miss out on most of your life.
Two.
It’s going to be another long day of reassembling dandelions for Mr Sysiphus.
Buy the digital original. (Why?)

I discovered Drool on Instagram four years ago and have been following them ever since. This is one of my favourite songs of theirs. I love the guitar at the end.
More on the montage tomorrow.
