One.
Nothing is as good or as bad as it seems.
The context of this statement is people’s everyday lives. And in that context, I find that this statement is pretty much true. My greatest triumphs are not quite as awesome as I imagine them. I’m not quite as clever as I think I am. My worst days are never as bad as they could have been. The insoluble problems I face turn out of have solutions.
Once, I was walking at night in Christine’s childhood village in South Wales. It’s the type village where you would expect to not find an American walking on a foggy night. I was walking, alone, feeling like sticking out sore thumb, when out of the fog a dog, a wolf, an exceedingly large canine monster materialised. For a moment, I knew I was going to die.
Her name was Sasha. She was a kind and gentle Irish wolfhound.

Your TREEjay this week is my daughter Freya Gill. —JG
Growing up, I always loved Florence, and her new album Dance Fever really feels like coming home. It’s all I want to listen to right now. I recommend the full album, but for now here’s one of my favourite tracks.
One last thing thing to think about. After yesterday’s post, Denelle posted: “Life is able to keep you uneasy if you don’t sit still. Then you can move through life’s pain in intentional understanding.”

I am here for all the Freya music postings! Thank you, Freya!
Thank you for today's album recommendation. I've been looking for something new to listen to. And I believe your message today would be what I could tell my 25 year old self, if I could.
