Huge thank yous to Cali Bird and Teresa Roberts for this week’s TREE. It’s been so good! Tomorrow in FIELD GUIDE, Jared Shane Sneden writes about building a music career in Nashville.
Grow slowly
Jeff
One.
It is worth spending time on your creative pursuits.
It doesn’t matter how old you are. Creativity is a good thing to do whether you are 19 or 90!
It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner, a professional or returning to it after a long time away.
Just do it, when you can, to the best of your ability.
Don’t worry how good you are. Don’t worry whether your creative output ends up in a bookshop, a gallery or played on the radio. The most important thing is to just do it.
When you are doing your art, you are working from your best self. You show that you can move beyond your comfort zone.
You regularly reach inside yourself to be better than you thought you could be. Imagine if more people went about their daily life in this way. Wouldn’t the world be an amazing place?
It is okay to take time for yourself. It is okay to nourish your soul. It is okay to explore what is in your heart.
You already have everything you need. You are in a perfect condition just as you are. The trials and tribulations that you go through, the doubt, the fear, the self-hatred – these are merely vehicles in the fight to show the world your greater self.
Enjoy!

Two.
I hope you have enjoyed Teresa Roberts’ Susan as much as I have this week. –JG
Susan says the juice is worth the squeeze.
Three.
Cali’s final choice for this week is an artist that I would never have expected to see in the FFOREST. Life is an adventure and you are beautiful. —JG
I just like saying “Cali Bird”.
Very much needed to hear everything she tweeted. I’m going within to recharge. Made pot hangers and marinaded chicken in a magic sauce I created. God is good. Going within is such joy 🤩
