🎙 TREE 377: Jobby – things to remember

One.

A reminder of a few things…

You can absolutely be creative, and/or an artist if:

• You have an unrelated day job

• You have less time for your craft than you’d like because you’re a parent

• You used to do it for a job, but you chose an unrelated job for financial stability

• You aren’t good at it (yet?), but it brings you pleasure

• You will never be good at it, but it brings you pleasure

• You used to do it for a job, and self care meant turning it back into a hobby

• You have no interest in making money from it

• You desperately want to make money from it

There is no one way. We’re all just trying to figure it out and make sense of it in a pretty chaotic world – and maybe bring some beauty into it too.

Two.

You rarely see a reverse centaur because 1) they look ridiculous in workout clothing and 2) Face ID doesn’t work for them. I can’t think of other reasons.

Three.

For today’s song I chose T.Rex’s “20th Century Boy” because it rips, slaps, jams, shreds, and all of the other descriptors.
