🧚♀️ TREE 358: The essential trait for materialist manifesters
The boring ol’ materialist’s guide to manifesting, part 5 of 10
One.
Parts 1,2,3,4 are the reality-based things you do to get ready to manifest the thing you want. Today is about an absolutely essential trait for materialist manifestation. It is…
Stupidity
We think humans should be able to fly and we’re the guys to do it because we run a bike repair shop.
Don’t be stupid, Orville and Wilbur Wright.
I think computers should be beautiful and easy-to-use by anyone.
Don’t be stupid, Steve Jobs.
I think people learn best through playing with real things in the real world.
Don’t be stupid, Maria Montessori.
I think this war needs to stop and we women are going to stop it.
Don’t be stupid, Leymah Gbowee.
All the interesting things that happen are done by people who are stupid enough to think things can change and that they are the ones to do it.
Are you stupid enough
to know what you want,
see how far you are away from it,
accept the existence
of the systems
which are designed
to keep things the same,
acknowledge that you are
nearly, but not entirely,
powerless
and still think,
yep,
I’m gonna do it
?
Hallelujah! You’ve got the job.

I'm pretty sure that I learned a load of useful things from all the stupid things I have done and said over the years. Some of the stupid was accidental, some premeditated, some very purposeful - but all of it presented an outcome that was different from if I hadn't stupided.
I had to look at the definition of stupidity for inspiration. Ignorance, folly, and simplicity are some of the definitions. But I like the word “piffle”. The folks known that were mentioned were not stunted by the piffle. It would seem they saw something other than piffle or saw piffle and used it to their advantage. They made something out of piffle, like lemonade. Are you rising out of the piffle?
