When you’re in the sea being pounded by waves, you can tumble around hoping for it to stop or you can start surfing.
The world has gone mad. You have as much control of the madness as you do the waves of the sea. That reality can feel overwhelming and disempowering.
But you are not powerless.
You have the power
of choosing your response,
of finding the strong stillness within you,
of inverting your thinking,
of taking new actions,
of using the tumult to propel you forward like a surfer uses the waves.
The the thing that jumps out at me from this throwback post is ’taking new actions’. At first, it probably doesn’t even matter what your new action is. Do any small thing different to bump your brain from the rut it’s been thinking in. Once you liven up your thinking, you will start to see where your real power moves are.
Grow surfingly
