I don’t like ball point pens. They move too easily. I prefer the control I get from the drag of a pencil or fountain pen.
Sans Forgetica is a font that is deliberately difficult to read. It was ’created by… designers and behavioural scientists from RMIT University’ to help you remember what you read. ‘The “desirable difficulty” you experience when reading information formatted in Sans Forgetica prompts your brain to engage in deeper processing.’
One of the best working relationships of my life started when when my client’s marketing guy said the logo I designed for them wasn’t good enough. After I stopped being righteously angry, I called him up. We met for coffee. He was right about the logo. I went back to work and made a better one. Then he started hiring me to do design work for all his clients.

I love coincidences/serendipity (whatever word is best). I've been pondering resistance and vowed to pay more attention to it. Specifically when I resist something. Often -- I don't pay attention to it. I brush it to the side and keep soldiering on. Currently, trying to notice it and ask why.
And I never thought about resistance in helping us pay attention. Very interesting!
And finally: Sans Forgetica. Ha. That made my day.
