Seasons exist. They are stronger, bigger and older than you. It makes good sense to flow with them.
Here are some seasons we’re in right now:
A global pandemic
The decline of one empire and the rise of another
A swing from globalism to nationalism and localism
A warming planet
Winter (Summer – Hey, southern hemisphere!)
Monday
All of these seasons are vastly bigger than you.
All of them affect you.
All of them pose threats.
All of them offer opportunities
when you find the flow.
This week I’ll be writing about seasons, thanks to a prompt from FOREST member Steve D.
Now that TREE has its new home in the FOREST, there are more options for connection. Near the top of this email next to my photo there are like, comment and share buttons. All of them will take you to the online version of the email. It’s a great way to create and widen the conversation. I often put links to sources and related material in the comments.
Hooray for connection to your fellow slow growers!
Jeff
PS You can still email me directly by replying to any TREE email.
Now that song links are right in the email, the TREE playlist is redundant, but The Memory of TREE playlist with every song from every email is still alive and growing every weekday.
